Porsha Ray Studios is your one-stop shop for all your musical needs. Porsha Ray Studios was birthed through the love of music and what music does for the world. If you’re having a bad day, music can lift you up. From a child, I loved to be around music, singing and performing music. I want to bring back that love of music to the world and my community. Music is the universal language.

Porsharee Ray attended Alabama A&M University, where she was the lead soloist in the Concert and Gospel choir. Majoring in Human Development and Family Studies and a concentration in Voice. She also has a master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix.

She is also a licensed Kindermusik Educator. Along with Porsha’s musical abilities, she is also certified in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University and certified in Business Education and QuickBooks Accounting from the University of Alabama.

She is also a member of the National Society of Leadership through the University of Phoenix. Since graduating she has been traveling the world, using her gifted voice as an inspiration for the people.

Porsharee has performed in Los Angeles, Richmond, Oakland and Fairfield California, Atlanta, Georgia, Nashville, Tennessee, and Freeport, Bahamas, among other places. Her astounding performances include singing for a host of civic and private organizations and on special occasions as the featured vocalist. She is also a Praise and Worship workshop facilitator, Leading worship for  St John Baptist Church for over 10 years. She commands the attention of the audience with her smooth yet powerful voice. She is a blessing to others, as she gives back through music.

Kindermusik is the world’s leading music and movement program for children ages 0-7 years old! We offer weekly, 45 minute, high-quality, group instruction by a licensed Kindermusik Educator.

Each week, class members enjoy singing, dancing, laughing, instrument playing, and storytelling – all backed by Kindermusik International’s team of childhood experts. Parents/caregivers are encouraged to attend. Learn more >

Worship Workshops will help your worship team members to deepen their commitment to God, themselves, and the music department.

It will help your core team members become leaders, mentors, and role models. We will also teach you how to include your youth in the Worship experience.

We will help your team to learn what biblical worship means, what it looks like and what it can do for the body of Christ. Your team will also learn how to discern the sound of their church, and new ways to select songs for the month and year. Climaxing with a mini-concert that will involve the church leaders and the Praise and Worship team.

Porsha Ray Studios was fortunate to help Destiny McAlpine receive a music scholarship to Alabama A&M University! Through the collaboration of Dr. Horace Carney and the Alabama A&M Choral Music Department, this opportunity became a reality. We are so proud of Destiny and all her hard work! She was also a part of our 2024 Summer Music Camp, and we are excited to see her continue to shine!
